At David James Furniture, we strive to provide the highest standards of service. If, in the unlikely event, you receive goods that are not in perfect condition or you wish to return an item, you may do so within 30 days of receipt, provided the item is unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging.

Delivery Areas
We deliver anywhere in England mainland free delivery within 50 miles or orders over £1500.
Deliveries are made using our own vehicles or preferred third-party delivery services. Depending on the size and weight of the item(s), deliveries may be completed by a 1-man or 2-man team.
Some couriers may deliver items curbside or leave them at the front door (ground floor only).
We do not deliver to: Ireland, Northern Ireland, or remote areas such as the Channel Islands, Grampian, Highlands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, and the Scilly Isles.
Shipping Process
Once your payment is confirmed, your order will be processed by our delivery team.
If your order is dispatched via a third-party courier, we will send you an email with the courier’s name and a tracking number (if applicable) so you can monitor your delivery.
Once collected by the courier, you should receive your order within 3-5 working days.
Returns Policy
30-Day Returns
If you wish to return an item, you may do so within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
If the item is faulty or damaged, we will cover the cost of collection.
Before Returning an Item

Ensure the item is unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned under the 30-day returns policy:
Altered goods.
Items not in their original condition or packaging.
Commercial orders.
Ex-display or clearance items.
Faulty or damaged items are eligible for return at no extra cost.
Return Packaging
All returned goods must be fully wrapped in protective packaging. We strongly recommend keeping the original packaging if you plan to return an item.
For change of mind returns, ensure the item is returned in the same condition and packaging as received. Items must also be fully dismantled.
If the original packaging is unavailable, please use alternative materials (e.g., bubble wrap) and re-box the item. This requirement does not apply to faulty or damaged items.
Refunds Policy
Refunds for returned items will be processed within 5-10 business days of receiving the returned goods.
For other refunds (e.g., cancellations), processing will take 7 business days.
If your payment card expires before we process your refund, please contact our Customer Care team at [insert phone number] with your sort code and account number for a BACS payment.
Refund of Delivery Charges
We will refund your original delivery charge if:
We made an error in dispatching your order.
The item received is faulty, unfit for purpose, and unused/unwashed.
You return the entire order or cancel within 30 days of receiving it.
